Experience the luxury of the Sugimoto Reserve collection, and the difference that authenticity makes. Homare Sencha is the highest quality sencha currently offered by Sugimoto Tea Company, our pride and joy. This is evident even in the name, which Hiroyuki Sugimoto gave to the tea: “homare” meaning “pride.” It’s made from the best of the best Yabukita tea leaves from the spring harvest, carefully selected and blended together to ensure the highest quality.
This unique fukamushi style sencha is reminiscent of green beans and edamame, rich and brothy with a striking spring sweetness. Given our signature high heat final roast, this tea leaves a rich lingering finish.
Recommended Brewing: As this is a premium sencha, we recommend using a small Japanese kyusu and steeping at a lower temperature than is normal for most other senchas.

If you received an incorrect or damaged item, please email us at sipsglobalteas@gmail.com immediately so that we can correct the problem. Please note that it may take us longer than usual to reply during especially busy periods.
If you have changed your mind about a tea that you received and would like to return it for store credit, you may do so within 30 days of receiving your order. Teas must be unopened.

Factors outside of our control (service outages, carrier delays, staff availability) may extend the time it takes for orders to complete delivery.
